"Lady Godiva" was designated a B-25D-20-NC, serial number 41-30778.  "Lady Godiva" was built at the North American Aviation production facility in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1941.  "Lady Godiva" was delivered to the Army Air Corps in 1942.  "Lady Godiva" flew in the Central Pacific Theater of Operations from November 1943 to September 1944.  "Lady Godiva" flew in combat again in 1945 when the 41st Bomb Group was based in Okinawa.  They flew many missions against the southern Japanese island of Kyushu.  "Lady Godiva" survived the war and was salvaged in September 1945.  In all "Lady Godiva" completed over 77 combat missions.
